Nutrition, Transportation & Support Services

    Homer Senior Citizens, Inc. provides hot lunches to individuals in the community and surrounding area who are 60 years or older.

Congregate Meals

   Seniors are served a noon meal Monday through Friday in the dining room of the Homer Senior Center. This provides a good opportunity to get together with friends and catch-up on the latest activities.

Home Delivered Meals

   For seniors who cannot go to the center for a noon meal,
hot lunches are delivered to qualifying participants at their home, at the Friendship Center (Adult Day Care) and the Friendship Terrace (Assisted Living Residence).

Support

   Assistance is available to arrange for help with homemaking, Social Security, taxes, energy and weatherization, applications for assistance, and 
property taxes.

  Transportation

    Transportation is available to qualified individuals who are 55 years an older or who are between 18-55 who are handicapped. Transportation is by reservation on a space available basis. Transportation costs depends on a person's level of income.
